Digital cameras: a 1 Go Flash Compact card (Yahoo)

A 1 Go Flash Compact card will be presented during the next Comdex in Las Vegas (November 12th to 16th). These small cards which stock data, more particularly used in the digital cameras or MP3 readers, will thus receive more than one million top quality photos or around twenty hours of music. This is what is revealed by Yahoo.fr (see the article "1 Go sur une carte Compact Flash") as they state that the most powerful Flash Compact card is for the moment up to 512 Mo (half of it). Although the price of the new high density card risks to be very expensive at the beginning (a price of 7.5000 francs has been mentioned), this is a new breakthrough in terms of storage for all of the general public digital cameras.
