Except if he encounters damage, the single-handed sailor from Cannes Philippe Monnet is about to beat one of the hardest sailing records : the one of the Englishman Mike Golding in a wrong way round round the world. Philippe Monnet was on June 5th pm 1,300 km far from the finish line in Brest at about four days from the record (he should arrive on Friday 9). After five months at sea and moments of doom on his sailing ship Uunet, the sailor is about to go down in legend. What about following the last miles on the site www.70degressud.com.
