Both Sophia and Singapour’s scientific parks are going to collaborate. Roger Duhalde, SAEM president, and Arcasialand managing director, a scientific park in Singapour, are going to sign a “memorandum of understanding” (MOU), on Friday December 8th at 11.15 am in SAEM premises in Sophia Antipolis. The point is to fix a co-operation framework between managers of both scientific parks, in order to allow an exchange of information, maybe even common actions between between the two parks but as well between companies settled in each park. This exchange protocol betweeen the two signatories, should be the first step of a broader agreement associating the INRIA, as well as Eurecom, the CICA, and the CERAM, as it was planned. This second step is scheduled for the first six months 2001. Before the signing ceremony, the whole “Franco Singaporean Business Council” delegation, composed of around twenty persons, will attend a presentation of the economic and scientific French Riviera by the CCI NCA Resources Center and a presentation of Sophia by the SAEM.ContactsChristian CABROLCommercial ManagerSAEM SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS COTE D’AZURPlace Joseph BermondB.P. 33. 06901 SOPHIA ANTIPOLIS CEDEXTel : 04.92.94.59.94 fax : 04.93.65.40.69
