Lockheed Martin got the biggest military contract ever on Friday, October 26th, facing the competition of Boeing. The future American combat aircraft, the JSF (“Joint Strike Fighter”), a stealth bomber able to land vertically, represents a contract worth at least 200 billion dollars! This stealth single jet engine – which can escape the radar detection— is the best equipped to operate with supersonic speeds and will be used for the first time by three armies (Air Force, Navy, Marines). Yahoo, announcing this historic contract, insist on one point, which is the title of its article: "The JSF combat aircraft will establish the supremacy of the American airline".
