Cap Cyber is getting bigger. At the exhibition centre in Nice, from November 17th until 20th, it is definitely heading to the Internet and the multimedia. For its fifth time, this exhibition, welcoming 20.000 visitors last year will settle down on 8000 M2, an area four times bigger than what they had in Nice-Acropolis. Additional spaces will make the opening towards the professional world easier. In this 'multimedia city', 2.000 M2 were dedicated to the B to B (Business to Business).Ten 'villages', each focusing on a different subjectThe technological revolution has led to the creation of Cap Cyber in a different way, in a larger space, suiting better the numerous applications of the multimedia and the Internet. To intensify the impact, the influence and the attraction of the exhibition, everything has been reshaped: new place, new display, new events, as it was published in the introductory release. The exhibition is then organised around ten different stands: education, employment and training, B to B, cyber games, Internet show, star-up, etc. In each stand, participants, institutions and professionals are gathered. In the stand on employment and training, the executive employment agency, Nice City Council and its Cyber-employment as well as other organisations like the job center, training centres, etc. On the other hand, practice will be of greater importance. At the Internet show stand, one hundred multimedia stations will be available and it will be the place for the first HTML programming championship. At the Cyber games stand, 500 computers will be dedicated to free access games and multimedia stations for online games.Public lectures and showsTogether with the exhibition, Cap Cyber organises daily public lectures, continuous forums, thus adding an improvement to the different stands. During four days, the planning will gather the best experts from numerous national and international companies: software producers, consultants, access suppliers, hardware manufacturers. The subjects will focus on e-business, the Internet sphere (managment of Internet plans, electronic publishing, legal matters, etc), PCs turning to laptops, the impact of the Net on education, training, employment health, etc.Continuous shows will take place in each stand so that each visitor will make the most of the exhibition. Apart from the HTML programming championship, a contest on websites and international competitions of online games will be organised. Additional shows will be set up: an entire evening dedicated to Net-economy companies will take place on Friday, November 17th from 8.00 AM until midnight in Nice with a meeting sponsored by Jean-Michel Billaut, President of 'atelier.fr', on the subject 'Net-economy and Start-up Strategy' (evening dedicated to professionals). To sum up, a 'Cap Cyber' bigger, with more contents and more diversified, targetting the general public as well as the professional audience this year.
