Before they leave for an American university, a hundred of students of the Institute or so, in traditional dress, cap and gown, will receive their passports on Saturday April 21st at Mandelieu.

The EAI Tech (Euro-American Institute of Technology), post-baccalaureate programme of the CERAM at Sophia Antipolis, is organizing its traditional ceremony for the handing over of their passports on Saturday April 21st 2001 from 5.00 PM to 7.00 PM, at the Royal Casino Hotel in Mandelieu la Napoule. The management of the EAI Tech will give the passports to 100 students, who will leave in August 2001 for one of the host American universities (Florida Tech, Virginia Tech, College of Charleston, Tulane University, Western Carolina University, Florida International University and Bowling Green State University). The tradition was honoured: the students will wear, for the occasion, the traditional dress, the American cap and gown. This ceremony will be followed by the graduation ceremony for the Bachelor EAI Tech (degree recognized worldwide), which will be delivered to 6 students. The EAI Tech, set up in 1990, is a programme part of the CERAM Sophia Antipolis, higher education group of the CCI Nice Côte d’Azur since the end of 1996.
