Entrepreneurs from the French Riviera and British ones in videoconferencing

An exceptional evening at the Ceram on Thursday June 7th, 6.45 pm : Entreprendre les Hautes Technologies with Sophia UK of Newcastle via the Net about innovation, growth and experience transfer.

It will not be an usual evening. For the June 7th appointment, Entreprendre les Hautes Technologies (Undertaking high technologies) starts a European premiere : a videoconferencing meeting between the French Riviera and Newcastle where the Sophia UK Club is located. For more than one hour, high tech entrepreneurs of the Riviera will be able to discuss of problems they are experiencing with their British homologous. This exceptional meeting, organised by the Direction des Pôles de Compétences Technologiques (DPCT) of the Ceram Sophia Antipolis, will take place on Thursday, 6.30 pm, at the Ceram I – Grand Amphi – Dostoïevski street 06902 in Sophia Antipolis.The aim of this first European exchange via the NICT is to share practices between high tech companies of Sophia Antipolis (France) and of Newcastle (UK). This evening, conducted by company managers, will be entirely dedicated to creators and entrepreneurs. They will be asked to tackle their main problems : definition of their strategy, knowledge of the environment, identification of their – future – partners, optimisation of their recruitment, securisation of their savoir-faire, protection of their project, intellectual property, review of success factors…According to the usual "format" of the "Entreprendre les Hautes Technologies" cycle, the meeting will begin with a roundtable about two themes. The first one : being helped during the incubating process : By who ? How ? Incubators, Consultants. The second one : industrial property – intellectual property. The roundtable will conducted by Estelle Chatard, Sophia UK Club; Christian Cabrol, SAEM Sophia Antipolis; François Tamarelle, Direction des Pôles de Compétences Technologiques (DPCT).Then, it will be followed by two stands. Stand 1 : Marketplaces : evolutions, inventory, marketplaces of yesterday and … of today. Stand 2 : Convergence and Compatibility of communication tools.
