For those who are fond of robotics, the JNR01, the third "French national days for research in robotics", reviews all the latest breakthroughs and applications in this industry. These days which will take place in the Giens peninsula, in the Var, from October 15th to 17th, will gather around 150 searchers in robotics, university professors, industrialists and users from all over France. The INRIA Sophia, the co-organiser of the event, and the I3S laboratory from the CNRS Sophia, are particularly well represented. It is specified that the aim of the JNRR is not only scientific: as the whole French robotic community will be gathered, these Days should allow them to think about its organisation in the current regional, national and European context. On the INRIA Sophia website you will find the whole program as well as the summary of speeches. The person who can't attend the meetings will find there a detailed summary of what has happened. A good overview of the latest theoretical breakthroughs in automatics, signal processing or applied mathematics.
