MAPIC at Cannes: the business property is optimistic (Le Figaro)

Despite the events of September 11th, the MAPIC at Cannes, which is the international fair of business establishments, faced a high increase in the number of contributors: +15% with more than 5,000 people. Ikea, which is setting up in Moscow, the Galeries Lafayette, which are taking over Marks & Spencer British shops in France, the winning strategy of PPR (Pinault-Printemps-Redoute) and many other business projects worldwide took part in the three days of the fair at the "palais des festivals". Le Figaro showed the optimism in its article "The business property is still optimistic ". Projects are becoming more numerous, particularly in central Europe, whereas the market of business establishments was not affected by events of September 11th until now. However, as Le Figaro mentioned in its conclusion: because the fair opened during the events in Afghanistan, it has also probably contributed to the good spirit of the MAPIC…
