The first "Meetings for the Promotion of International Investments in France" will take place from November 21st to 23rd, at the Club Med in Opio. They will be organised by the DATAR (Delegation for Territorial Planning and Regional Action), the AFII (French Agency for International Investments) and the association "Invest in France" (IFN). The AFII, set up at the end of October 2001 became the only actor on a national basis, in order to ease the procedures of international companies and to help them when they set up, in consultation with local governments. It was in charge of answering the needs of the market of international investors quickly and efficiently.
Jean-Louis Guigou, Delegate of the DATAR, Didier Lombard, President of the AFII and Henri Martre, President of Invest in France will contribute to this event. "Côte d'Azur Développement", the economic development agency in the Alpes-Maritimes, also took part.
