"Pavillon bleu": who got it and who didn?t?

In the Alpes Maritimes, only three towns out of five which applied for the “Pavillon bleu” (for the quality of swimming places) obtained it. It is Cap d’Ail and Menton for their beaches as well as Antibes Juan-les-Pins. However, Cannes was not selected but obtained a consolation prize with the “Fanion bleu” (blue flag) whereas Théoule refused to apply and Mandelieu got the precious label for its harbours, but not for its beaches.
