Property business is booming in Paris. The Parisian lawyers recently put a figure to the increase which occurred between the first and the second trimester 2000, 14.1%. For the whole year 2000, the average increase of prices should reach about 16%. This trend is a Parisian specificity because the rest of the country is experimenting a slowdown. The French Riviera follows the Parisian trend. The weakness of stocks and the pressure of demand provoked a price taking-off. In luxury property business, some professional workers talk about a 30 to 50% increase!
