Jean-François Abramatic: Ilog vice-President

President of World Wide Web Consortium (W3C), whose European pole is settled at the INRIA, Sophia Antipolis; Jean-François Abramatic was elected Vice-President, Ilog R&D director. The company Ilog, which manufactures software components, is supervised by Pierre Haren. Jean-François Abramatic, one of the most famous French people dealing with the web is a doctor of Paris VI University and engineer of Ecole des Mines of Nancy. He was director of the development section and of industrial relationships at the INRIA and realized last year a study about the technical development of the Internet; the study had been asked by the Industry Ministry State Secretary. The report is now part of the French Governmental Action Program for the Information Society.
