It is good news for holiday makers in July. However, it isn’t for motorway companies. The CGT gave notice of strike action for June 29th, for the overall of motorway companies’employees. ESCOTA for the South-East, the ASF (Motorways of the South of France) to reach the South of France will face this notice of strike action. The CFDT has already given a notice of strike action for motorways to the North and the East of France, together with an operation of free toll for two days, from June 29th at 5.00 until July 1st in the morning. Employees are claiming for the 35-hour working week and this operation of free toll which only affects the SANEF (Motorway company of the North and the East of France) for now, could spread on the other motorway companies.
