Gilles Bohan, Sales Channel Manager of UDCast
The architect of the Internet by satellite increases the number of his commercial representatives in order to answer the high demand on the market and to suit the development of his international activities.
UDCast, spin-off at the INRIA based at Sophia Antipolis, appointed Gilles Bohan to the position of Sales Channel Manager. The latter then joined the sales management team set up in Paris. His main mission will consist in developing UDCast’s partnerships such as OEM and VAP (carriers, vertical service providers, broadcasters).Gilles Bohan (42 years old), graduated of the ESCG (Business and management grande école) brings about 20 years of experience in the management of sales and business engineering gained within large information technology companies. From 1996 to 2001, he took the management of European sales within Interphase/Synaptel. In this company, he took different functions including: the responsibility of the distribution Network in Southern Europe and ISP, the marketing of network solutions as Lan-ATM-FiberC/Wan-IP,Embedded, the opening of new distributors in France, Spain, Italy and Portugal, responsibility of the activity of OEM Southern Europe.Before joining Interphase/Synaptel, Gilles Bohan held office as market manager and sales manager in four major companies: Olivetti France (Sales Manager 1991-1995), the SMT Goupil Group (Sales Manager 1990-1991), Forum International (Sales Director 1987-1990) and the Bull Group (Business Engineer 1983-1987).UDCast will use this experience in order to develop partnerships on international markets. ”Since the creation of the company in June 2000, we didn’t stop increasing the number of employees within our teams in order to suit the growth of UDCast “, noted Didier Tymen, CEO of UDCast, announcing the arrival of Gilles Bohan.
