A new gold chef's hat for Jacques Chibois. The founder of the gastronomic restaurant la Bastide Saint-Antoine, a Michelin two star restaurant in Grasse, has been awarded by the Pudlo France guide. As it is released for the second time, the Pudlo guide (diminutive of Gilles Pudlowski) has awarded him as chef of the year. Jacques Chibois had already been chef of the year for the GaultMillau guide the first year he opened the Bastide. Jacques Chibois, before he launched la Bastide Saint-Antoine in 1996, which has become Relais & Châteaux since then, had boosted the top-of-the-range catering in palaces of the French Riviera in the early 80's. Thus, he made a great reputation to the Gray d'Albion restaurant.
