The Milia 2000 is certainly going to play the stars from 10th to 14th February. A few international famous figures of the new world of information and multimedia were already announced like Jean-Marie Messier, Vivendi Universal's manager. However, that time, supreme honour, it is a Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin who will inaugurate the international market of interactive contents and who will give out the degrees to 15 winners of the New Talent Competition.
The Prime Minister, for this inauguration planned on February 12th, will come together with Catherine Tasca, Minister for Arts. As regards the Milia, the 8th edition, it boosted this year with 7 000 participants expected, 2 500 companies, a few important matters as the interactive television, the high bandwidth Internet, the future mobile services and lots of new 'products'.
