Start-up: American partnership agreement for Quescom

Quescom, accompany from Sophia Antipolis specialised in voice technologies on Internet and designer of innovating voice-data convergence solutions, has announced the signature of a partnership agreement with Sonus Networks. This American company listed on the Nasdaq is a main provider of voice infrastructure for the public network, in the framework of a partner program, the Open Services Partner Alliance (OSPA). The alliance which has been joined by 20 companies, among which Quescom, aims at promoting the latest technologies as far as voice is concerned.As for Quescom, this new partnership is interesting. The start-up from Sophia Antipolis is particularly intended to operators which design high added value services infrastructures around IP networks. The partnership with Sonus will enable the company to provide operators a complete Voice on IP solution, from the beginning to the end. Sonus will be able to focus on the heart of the network, by equipping central sites, whilst Quescom will develop complementary services, around the network. "Quescom and Sonus, which have already started working on common projects in Europe, benefit thus from a real synergy and complementarity of their offer, it is written as a conclusion of the press release announcing the partnership.
