The C.R.T Riviera Côte d'Azur (Regional tourist board) will have its own website soon. The prototype of this new tourist portal for the French Riviera was presented on Friday, during the "Cyber Villes" (Cyber Cities) exhibition fair. This fair targets multimedia services dedicated to local authorities. Cap Cyber opened it this year in Nice exhibition hall. The website address (www.guide-riviera.com), will open on the tourist coast with about a hundred of 360-degrees panoramic views, with pictures you can click on to know each time the route to follow and an agenda of events, a gastronomic guide, etc. This website was designed by Nice Matin Active and the web agency at Sophia, RTSE. It should be on-line mid-december (at the moment, the address is redirected to Exces.com, the tourist magazine on the French Riviera edited by Europe 2). In addition to the website, the CRT has also presented the overall services and cyber tools dedicated to the promotion of the French Riviera. They consist of multimedia presentations on demand or the Scala system for distant tourist information on plasma screens at Nice French Riviera airport. Cyber C.R.T thus shows perfectly the theme of Tourism@ 2001, the big exibition fair for tourism and new technologies, which will take place on November 28th and 29th at Nice Acropolis. This fair will show what new technologies can bring to the tourist industry.
