It is not the favorite man, Jean-Paul Cluzel, president of RFI who took the management of the AFP (Agence France Presse). Bertrand Eveno, 56, new president of the AFP who has followed Eric Giuily, elected in March 1999 and who resigned on last Sept. 26th, is a man who comes from publishing business. Holder of a diploma from HEC and ENA, he successively presided Nathan, Presses de la Cité, Larousse, and formerly Havas Education et Référence and the Havas educative edition pole (Nathan, Bordas, Larousse and Le Robert), now a Vivendi subsidiary. He left his functions last July. He has been elected for three renewable years.
