After the Innovation Prize which was launched last year and renewed this year, the association also wanted to reward the talented researchers. Applications' sending before September 30th.

The association Telecom Valley has renewed its Innovation Prize which was launched last year. But the association adds to it a Research Prize which will 'cover', a release has said, 'a large scale from research to its innovating setting up and to the satisfaction of users (Clipsat Prize)'.The Prize will reward a singular project in networks, telecommunications, associated services or uses. Each research center public or private, but also any firm, association or individual from PACA can apply for the Prize by having its/his file registered before September 30th 2000.A jury will select the best project and the entity which owns it will be rewarded and will officially receive the Prize, with the Innovation and Clipsat Prizes.It will be the second edition for the Innovation Prize. It also rewards special projects in networks, telecommunications and associated services or uses. But it is dedicated to small and medium sized firms, to start-ups and to big corporations.Last year, the firm Opt(e)way had been rewarded, while four other firms had received a label: CM3 Ingénierie, 4G TECH Europe now called WWWhosh, VTDIM, WebTime Médias (Sophianet.com editor), and the Eurecom Institute.
