Venture Capital Summit : twelve companies from the Riviera selected

The result for the 5th international summit, December 3rd and 4th at the Sophia Antipolis CICA: a selection of 37 projects among which 12 from the Riviera and the search for 174 million euros.

The selection committee of the 5th Venture Capital European Summit which will take place at the Sophia Antipolis CICA on December 3rd and 4th has chosen. Among the 80 files that have been presented, 37 projects have been selected. Among them, twelve Riviera projects coming, for the most of them, from Sophia Antipolis research park. This year, a total of 174 million euros (1.140 million francs) will be asked to investors and venture-capitalists.During two days, workshops will allow the 37 selected companies to present their projects to investors. In the same time, workshops and a Forum will deal with themes linked to venture-capital in France as well as in Scandinavian countries, the guest countries in 2001.
