The second Start-up Forum in Monaco

During three days, from January 31st to February 2nd, two hundred start-ups or so will meet their suppliers and strategic partners.

'Is there a continuity after the financial bubble? What are the strategies and perspectives in 2001? ' : this will be the subject of the plenary session for the second /www.startup-forum.com">Start-up forumthat will take place at the Méridien Beach Plaza Hotel of Monaco from January 31st to February 2nd 2001. The session will be lead by a few famous names of the French net-economy as Pierre Chappaz, CEO, Kelkoo; Pierre-Yves Jousselin, Euronext New Market Manager; Marie-Christine Lecvet, Lycos France's General Director; Joel Palix, Clust.com's former CEO, etc. This event is to prove that despite the e-krach in April and December, the venture of start-ups is far from being over.Organized by 3F2D Communication, a communication agency specialized in events for information technology industries, the first event was from July 10th to 12th 2000. The concept of the second forum, six months later, is still the same : hold a business convention gathering managers of the main start-ups of the Net and the NTIC together with their suppliers and strategic providers.For three days, representatives of 180 start-ups or so and 'dotcorps' as well as 70 suppliers and providers will be able to meet each other during workshops and debates, develop new work contacts and review the news topics. Sophia didn't miss the opportunity of this meeting : within the list of contributors, at least six start-ups of Sophia (buying-partners, Aucland, Vistaprint, Previsite, Wimba.com, Start-up connexion) who will come to do their networking.
