Lors de la réunion de bilan de saison touristique organisée mardi matin par la SEMEC de Cannes, il a noté que l'augmentation des plaintes pour vol sur le bassin cannois avait suivi l'envolée de la fréquentation touristique (environ + 15% pour les plaintes). Commentaire : le nombre des personnes arrêtées a lui aussi suivi cette courbe avec une augmentation de l'ordre de 15%. Parmi ces délinquants de l'été, beaucoup de jeunes des banlieues de Paris ou de Lyon.
