Will it be finally possible to settle the problem of delays for air flights? In Nice French Riviera, the problem of air traffic controllers is often mentioned to explain arrivals and departures which are sometimes very late compared to scheduled times. This cause should partly be eliminated with the opening of a new sophisticated air control centre in Aix-en-Provence. This centre, built by the State with the intermediary of the DGAC (General Management of Civil air force) was inaugurated on Friday January 26th.

Electronic paper manufactured by new age printing plants which would allow to create high tech newspapers with video displaying and which could be downloaded by Internet from wireless links ! That's what technology can do, according to Transfer.net which quotes scientists declarations from Bell Labs (Lucent Technologies' laboratories) and from the E Ink company. The latter say that they will actually be able to print "electronic paper" rolls soon.

Et de 10 pour Grand Large Voyages, le groupe niçois de Jany Bousquet! Il a inauguré sa dixième agence fin avril à Valbonne. Une agence un peu différente des autres car, située à proximité de la technopole, elle vise une clientèle à la fois d'affaires et de tourisme et en tout cas très internationale ((une bonne moitié de d'étrangers travaillant à Sophia Antipolis parmi les clients accueillis lors du premier mois de fonctionnement).

This is the title of an article by Michel Bovas, published in La Tribune of November 29th 2000 and untitled "The French Riviera can't find accommodation anymore for its new comers". Du papier électronique fabriqué dans des imprimeries new age qui permettrait de créer des journaux high tech affichant également de la vidéo et que l'on téléchargerait par Internet à partir de liaisons sans fil ! C'est désormais à portée de technologie, ainsi que le signale Transfert.net qui reprend les déclarations de scientifiques des Bell Labs (les laboratoires de Lucent Technologies) et de la société E Ink. Ces derniers affirment en effet qu’on pourra bientôt imprimer des rouleaux de "papier électronique".

When will there be real hospital in Cannes and its basin ? Although the medical profession and equipments are very good, it is not the case for premises which have been subjected to a project of complete renovation for the last twenty years. A project which keeps on making no headway.
